FARHANG TAHA LAW FIRM

As a managing partner, Farhang Taha obtained good grades in law and politics from the first recognized university in Iraq, the University of Salahuddin.

He spent three years with the United Nations and one year with international NGOs.

2004 marked the beginning of his primary legal career as an attorney, which he has maintained to the present day.

Farhang Taha worked for both individual clients and corporations, consulates, providing all types of legal services to individuals and businesses while assisting the Kurdistan Bar Association as a liaison attorney to establish professional connections and business relations with other Bar Associations abroad. Growing up in a family with a strong legal foundation encouraged him to upgrade his legal education and professional practice continually.

Later, he registered his office as an official law firm, engaged in the work of corporations, local and foreign individuals, international agencies, and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), and expanded his legal services to include a large number of foreign and international entities by providing them with the required and necessary information regarding Iraqi laws and regulations.

He intends to offer the same legal services and consultations to all his clients promptly and meet their requirements.

 

Farhang Taha Law Firm provides distinguished legal consultations and all types of legal services to private individuals, whether local or foreign, companies in general, and International Non-Governmental Organizations and other international corporations such as consulates and agencies in KRI and Iraq in particular.

Providing legal analysis, representation, and interpretation of the law to clients on legal papers and contracts such as internal rules, HR handbooks, employment contracts, and other forms of agreements regulated by Iraqi labor laws and civil law is the job’s primary focus.

  • Member of Kurdistan Bar Association since January 2000.
  • Member of Kurdistan Jurists Union – 2002.
  • Member of Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) – 2008
  • Member of International Bar Association (IBA) – 2009
  • Ex-UN Staff from March 2001- April 2004 with a high grade of UNOHCI – UNGCI.

PRACTICING AS A CONSULTANT LAWYER SINCE 2004 WITH THE FOLLOWING JOBS:

  • Lawsuits (Civil, Criminal and Labor cases).
  • Strong legal research skills, especially in analyzing legal matters, Internal Regulations, and employment issues.
  • Writing skills with considerable experience in writing legal opinion papers related to all legal matters.
  • Broad program development experience.
  • Proficient in both the Translation and Interpretation of Legal Materials.
